it´s a spring thing.

spring is my favorite time of the year without a doubt. or, to be exactly precise, those couple of weeks when the colour of the sun light has turned warm and yellow after the endless winter months but the air is still crisp and clear. there´s a hint of summer in the air and the delicate wiff of the awakening nature makes your heart beat just a tad faster and you´re not quite sure how much to pack when you go to the country side for the first of may weekend.

because sunday.

on sundays i normally make soup. especially during the cold winter months that there's plenty of in finland. more often than not, it's red lentils with root vegetables, tomatoes and herbs with some day old bread on the side.
